On behalf of the Civil Society & Human Rights Network (CSHRN), Human Rights Defenders Plus (HRD+), and Afghanistan Democracy and Development Organization (ADDO), we are pleased to share our newsletter from Geneva, where our delegation participated in the 61st Session of the UN Human Rights Council.
As the human rights and humanitarian situation in Afghanistan continues to worsen, our delegation worked to ensure that the voices of Afghan women and human rights defenders are heard loud and clear on the international stage.
We urge the international community to remain committed to justice for Afghans and to avoid any normalization of the current de facto authorities that disregards human rights. We deeply appreciate your continued partnership and support.
